Last Friday, our beautiful Naga daughter-in-law, Heka Treat, was injured in a serious traffic accident. Heka, her brother, Hekato, and her nephew, Inahoto, were in a three-wheel motorized open taxi. They were crowded off the road by another vehicle and were hit by a jeep, head-on. Heka suffered a deep head wound and loss of blood. She was hospitalized for a couple days and is recuperating at home. However, Hekato is still in serious condition with 8 broken ribs, a perforated lung, and a brain injury. Inahoto was not badly hurt. We appreciate your prayers for them so very much!
Several folks asked that I put pictures from our recent time in Nagaland (NE India and Heka’s home) on my blog. The following pictures were taken in October 2008; I hope you enjoy them!
