I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business.  Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.  –John 15:15

If I could see His face this morning
If I could look into His eyes
If I could hear Him softly whisper-
“My love for you is deeper than the skies!”

Pure joy would fall upon me
My feet would skip and fairly prance.
He’d take away all questions
And I’d enter into “The Dance”

Not a “Dance with a Dragon”
Nor a dance with any disease.
But a dance of exquisite delight
A dance of worship and release!

“Don’t you know that I am pleased with you?
I made you – special and unique
You matter more than you can know.
I want to give you what you seek!

Worry and fret- become as nothing.
Freedom comes as you lay them down.
Your doubts will turn to knowing
That my love for you abounds!”

“Come, follow Me,” You said to Your disciples.
You say the same to us, it seems.
“I’m your Father, you can trust Me.
You’re My chosen, one of My redeemed!”

A life well-lived is a life of openness.
One can sing and dance in His grace.
He invites us to taste of His goodness.
We’ll cease striving and let rest come in its place.
